Lakers dominated on both offense and defense winning the series quite easily.
After the Lakers clinched the series in game 6 Lebron James spoke in the post interview. Lebron James targeted Dillion Brooks taunting Brooks comments of I don’t respect anyone unless they score 40 on me. The Lakers indeed scored 40 points on Brooks and his team.
Lebron James said “You asked for the 40,Here’s the 40” in the post match interview and rips Dillion Brooks for his trash talk on court and the disrespect he has shown towards legendary players in the league.
My Sons Keep me Young: Lebron James
My boys keep me young me and my sons. They keep me young so um, I mean use it before games. I watch a lot of film on the opponent but my son Bryce actually had an AAU team game uybl game in Phoenix tonight. So up until probably about 45 minutes on the clock I was watching his game and watching him going out there and Performing. Seeing him play that kind of inspired me as well it kept me young tonight.
Lebron James averaged 22.2 points, 11.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1 block & 1 steal per game in the playoffs. James still continues to be productive on the court and the main source on the offensive end in his 20th season. The legend never gets old.
The Lakers await for the winner of Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings Game 7 in the Western conference semi-finals starting on Tuesday.
When asked about the 2nd round opponents Lebron James said:
It’s definitely going to be a challenge but both teams have to go through it. You know it’s us in either Sacramento or Golden State we’re going to be on the same schedule. The plus is that it’s not a four-hour flight like we were just taking to go to Memphis and losing two hours you know during the process.
So he was he was losing six hours just going back there right off jump so um you know we stay in the same time zone we stay in the same state. It’s an hour flight to each place unless if it’s sack a little bit more. if it’s to the Bay um so that definitely helps. I know you guys are happy about that as well yeah for sure especially BT going to Wine Country no matter where we go so yeah.
