The world of fashion is important to you. You feel like to put your best foot forward. It is necessary to feel your best. And to feel your best, you need to look your best. And to look your best you need to be aware of all the hottest trends going on in fashion right this very minute.
And let me tell you if we’re talking about fashion in 2022, then we’re talking about accessories. In a fashion era dominated by workwear and basics. These are the things that will elevate your outfit into a look. Now, I know what you’re thinking. “This is such a broad topic, where do I even begin?” Well, have no fear, my friend. Probably one of the most remarkable trends of the last ten years is the return of chains to the high-fashion scene. One of the most striking ways the styling of chains has evolved though is through the trend of stacking them.
Stacking your chains, put simply. Is the styling choice of wearing multiple chains at once. These chains are all of the different lengths, and thus require specific attention to not only wear they land on your top. But to the deep interplay that occurs when the chains are stacked one on top of each other. Are the links working together? Does the stack look too bunched around the neck?
These are the pitfalls of the chain stack. But with a little finesse, one can manage to pull it off. Thus giving them access to one of the most forward-looking trends in fashion. Now, if you don’t have any chains, and are wondering where to start. My advice is to look into mens pendants. A pendant is a great first chain to build your stack around. If you’re looking to up your outfit, finding the perfect hat is a great way to do it. Now, some might say that the dad hat is the best choice for a modern look, and while that would look great. I’m going to interject with a thoroughly left-field suggestion. First I think the beanie is in prime position to come back in style. Anyone who pays attention to the trends in fashion knows, that the cycle of nostalgia is firmly pointing towards the 2000s.
And as we depart the early aughts Y2K influenced style. I’m betting the more alt looks of the mid-2000s are going to come back in a big way. A staple of this look was the beanie. Going with something plain adds great style to any outfit, and has the added benefit of keeping you warm! This is great since Fall’s right around the corner!
2. Chains aren’t Just for Necklaces!
Now, you may think I’m double dipping here with this last entry, but chains don’t have to mean just necklaces. Something that I keep seeing around town is the fabulous fantastic (slightly flummoxing) return of the wallet chain! This is a great look because it adds that little accent to your pants. And as we all know. If you’re trying to look great in today’s fashion climate. It’s all about the pants! If you want to go for an even more industrial look. Try getting a chain bracelet. Something shiny and a little clunky just to give balance to the whole of your ensemble.
