If you are a dedicated Warzone 2 viewer on Twitch, you must have witnessed the swift rise of a streamer in the Call of Duty battle royale rankings. In March Primroze became the sixth most-watched Warzone Twitch streamer, surpassing some of the most prominent players in the game. But the question remains: Who is Primroze and her rise to the top on Twitch.
Despite players’ complaints about the game’s state, Warzone still has many thriving creators. According to statistics from SullyGnome, in March 2023, Recrent, a Russian star, took the top spot for viewership, followed by Chowh1, a French phenom.
Established names like Fifakill, Nadia, and HusKers are also doing well. However, one name could be more well-known in the Warzone community.
Primroze had more than 400,000 hours watched throughout the month and Primroze was featured on Twitch front page as part of Women’s History Month. Primroze is helping to pave the way for female Twitch streamers in the space, and despite the trolls, she is not letting them get to her.
Who is Primroze?
Primroze began her streaming career in January 2019, during her third year of college, where she pursued a broadcast journalism degree. With her educational background and love for playing Fortnite, she found it effortless to communicate with the camera.
In the following years, she shifted her focus to various other games, and since 2020. Primroze has been playing Madden extensively. Recently, she has started playing Warzone more frequently, despite having played it since its launch. However, only after the launch of Warzone 2 in November 2022 and its new battle royale experience Primroze start giving it her full attention.
Primroze Triumph During Women’s History Month on Twitch
PrimRoze’s switch to her streaming schedule was successful. Twitch recognized her by featuring her as part of their Women’s History Month campaign. This celebration of women across the platform brought a new audience to her stream.
Rose expressed her gratitude for this opportunity, saying, “I honestly don’t even know how I got that opportunity but I am so grateful for the exposure it brought to my stream.” In March, Primroze adopted a flexible approach to her streaming schedule, going live whenever she woke up and streaming for as long as she felt comfortable.
This allowed her to reach a wider audience. Including people waking up and getting ready for school or work in the morning, people on their lunch breaks, and those getting ready for bed at night.
By streaming at random hours during the day. Primroze was able to attract new viewers to her community. This growth has allowed her the freedom to stream at times that work best for her, knowing that she has a dedicated audience.
