In 2020, Doc and his car, the Monte Carlo, had a terrible crash. On September 20, 2020, James Love shared the sad news with his Facebook fans, giving them all the details they wanted.
He explained, “The Street Beast and I were in a big accident while filming a vital race in Nebraska for the OG show.” Then he described the accident, saying, “The car rolled over 5-6 times and even took down three big Cedar trees, 8-10 inches round, from the ground.”

When explaining the repairs, Doc didn’t hold back. He expressed his gratitude for the shop that had built a sturdy roll cage to protect his car during the accident. At the same time, he didn’t hide his disappointment with the rebuilding process. He mentioned the financial strain caused by 2020 and the COVID pandemic, which made the rebuilding challenging.
In his words, “2020 and COVID haven’t been kind to the wallet, so I’m not too thrilled about the rebuilding process. But somehow, we will come back even better, stronger, and faster.” This statement reflects his determination to overcome this difficult challenge.
