Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure from Manchester United came as a shocker to Manchester United fans as well as Premier League. Ronaldo and Manchester United mutually parted ways after the start of FIFA World Cup. Man Utd decided to part ways after the Portugal international in an interview said ” I feel like I’m betrayed.” The statement by Ronaldo led to the club parting ways with the all time leading goal-scorer.

Ronaldo was unwilling to leave The Red Devils last summer. Team manager & head coach of Manchester United Erik Ten Hag had no plans for Ronaldo. The disparities between Ronaldo & Erik Ten Hag led Ten Hag to bench Ronaldo. Ronaldo was eventually frustrated and left the game against Old Trafford before the final whistle. This was the last game that Ronaldo played in the season.

Ronaldo later in an interview with Piers Morgan intensely criticized the club and head coach Erik Ten Hag. The club then decided to part ways with Ronaldo shortly after the start of the world cup. Since Ronaldo’s departure from Premier League the league has seen some unexpected results. Let’s have a look at top 6 teams in Premier League since his departure.
