Tom Nitti has arrived with shocking news for Reba McEntire and her team. Her team was already running short by one contestant for the Playoff Rounds for the 24th season of The Voice. At the beginning of Monday’s episode, it was disclosed that country singer Tom Nitti had left the show and would not be continuing in the competition. However, little additional information was provided about this unexpected departure.
The country icon was the sole coach to turn their chair for Tom’s rendition of Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)” in the Blind Auditions. As the season progressed, Tom continued to showcase his talent, securing a victory in the Battle Round with his performance of Cody Johnson’s “Til You Can’t.” Additionally, after his impressive Knockout Round cover of The Temptations’ “(I Know) I’m Losing You,” Reba chose to save him.
Reba shared that she had wonderfully talented people, but Tom had to leave for personal reasons. Consequently, she mentioned that she only had five artists that night. Following Tom’s departure, only Jordan Rainer, Ruby Leigh, Jacquie Roar, and Noah Spencer remain to represent Team Reba in the Playoffs. Additionally, her Super Save singer, Ms. Monet, is part of the lineup.
In a pre-season interview with ET, Reba mentioned that her fellow coaches, John Legend, Gwen Stefani, and Niall Horan, had greeted her warmly, like a sister. Nevertheless, she pointed out that the amiable atmosphere shifts when it’s time to delve into the business aspects. She recalled that they had assisted her, provided guidance, and imparted knowledge.
Reba recalled that they had helped her, offered guidance, and shared knowledge. After she learned up to that point, they mentioned that she was on her own. John, with a laugh, agreed, saying, “We still want to beat her.”
