In a chat with Variety, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City showrunner Lori Gordon and Andy Cohen spilled the beans that Monica Garcia won’t be back for Season 5. Even after the chance to explain herself in the reunion, Monica couldn’t win back the trust of the cast. According to Andy Cohen, if Monica had convinced just one person to support her, things might be different. Lori Gordon said there needs to be a break before Monica could come back.
Who’s Staying in ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ Season 5?
We’re pretty sure most of the familiar faces will return, but the show hasn’t spilled the beans about who else is joining or leaving in Season 5. Season 4 had Heather, Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and Angie Katsanevas, with Mary Cosby making appearances as a “friend” of the main cast.
Heather let slip to Variety in January 2024 that Season 5 filming starts in early February. This means we’ll pick up right where Season 4 left off in December 2023, after that explosive reunion.
Even though they haven’t told us yet, fans are thinking Season 5 might hit screens in September 2024, like the previous seasons.
