Have you ever received an unsolicited phone call or text message from a Telnyx number? If so, you know it can be aggravating or even a downright nuisance. Unfortunately, all telephone providers have to deal with spammy users creating “burner” accounts, sending spam text messages and setting up robo dialers.
Before we jump into the process of submitting complaints about spam calls and texts, it’s important to understand what Telnyx is. In short, Telnyx is a Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) provider—they offer voice, messaging and other communication services. That means that while it might be possible for someone to send spam messages or phishing attempts using a Telnyx number, Telnyx itself does not send messages directly to consumers.
According to their Report Abuse page, “Telnyx does not tolerate abuse of [their] Acceptable Use Policy.”
If you’ve received a spam message or phone call from a number associated with Telnyx, you can submit a complaint in just a few minutes.
The first step is to go to the Report Abuse page on their website. Once there, fill out the form with as much detail as possible about the incident in question. Make sure to include any information that could help them identify who sent the message or made the call (for example, if they left any identifying information).

In order to submit a complaint you will need the following information:
- Subject: Your reason for reporting the abuse
- Phone Number (Abusive): The number from which you received a call or text
- Phone Number (Received Abuse): The phone number that received the abuse
- Date and Time: When you received the call or text
- Services Receiving Abuse: Specify if it was a voice call or an SMS text message
Optionally, you also can provide your name, email, and any additional information you feel is relevant. Once you have this information, you’re ready to fill out and submit your request.
After you’ve filled out all of the required fields on the form, click “Submit” and your complaint will be sent directly to their abuse team for review. The team will review your submission and take appropriate action based on their findings. After submitting the spam request, you will receive a message on the same webpage that lets you know the request was received.
The entire process takes only minutes and can be done without having to contact anyone at Telnyx directly—though if further information is needed they may reach out via email or telephone for more details regarding your case.
