Australian actress Milly Alcock, celebrated for her role in “House of the Dragon,” has been officially cast as Supergirl in the upcoming DC Studios film, “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.” James Gunn, DC Studios CEO, took to Instagram to share the news and express his excitement about Alcock joining the superhero realm.

In a post featuring a screenshot from Deadline’s announcement, Gunn endorsed the casting, praising Alcock’s extraordinary talent. At 23, Milly Alcock, who debuted on TV in 2014, gained fame as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen in “House of the Dragon.” This role not only captured attention but also led to her latest venture as Supergirl.
