Lollapalooza returns, and 2025 is turning out to be one of its most exciting yet! The four-day festival will descend upon Chicago’s Grant Park from July 31 to August 4, with a huge lineup of Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler, The Creator, Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, Luke Combs, RÜFÜS DU SOL, TWICE, A$AP Rocky, and Korn, among many others. With over 170 artists across eight stages, Lollapalooza 2025 is gearing up to be a historic event, offering fans a diverse mix of pop, rock, hip-hop, electronic, and even country music.
A Year of Firsts at Lollapalooza
This year’s festival is making history with several first-time milestones. Olivia Rodrigo, off her GUTS World Tour, will get her Lollapalooza Chicago debut, delivering her powerful voice and smash hits to the festival main stage. Luke Comps, on the other hand, will become the first-ever country music closer in Lolla history, a move that opens the festival to a wider variety of genres. K-pop idol TWICE is also slated to headline, making them the first female K-pop group to ever top the event.
Another thrilling comeback is Korn, who will take the stage for the first time in close to three decades. Their previous Lolla performance was way back in 1997, so their 2025 show is a must-watch for metal and rock enthusiasts.
Massive Lineup and Exciting Newcomers
Outside of the big-name headliners, Lollapalooza 2025 has an incredible supporting bill with Gracie Abrams, Dom Dolla, The Marías, Martin Garrix, Clairo, and Cage the Elephant. Audiences will also get to experience new, up-and-coming acts like Mk.gee, Barry Can’t Swim, Magdalena Bay, Fujii Kaze, Alex Warren, Bilmuri, and floweroflove, each with a new sound and vibe for the festival.
For kids and families, the Kidzapalooza stage will come back, providing a separate area where children under 8 can visit for free with a paying adult.
Tickets and Pricing
Lollapalooza 2025 tickets will likely sell out quickly. Presale is Thursday, March 20, at 10 a.m., with general admission sales beginning at $385 for four-day passes. If you want added benefits, GA+ tickets ($715) grant lounge access, VIP tickets ($1,500) allow for priority viewing areas, and Platinum passes ($4,500) feature upscale amenities.
For those unable to attend all four days, single-day and two-day ticket options will be announced afterwards, as well as the schedule of daily performances.
Beyond the Music: Sustainability & Community
Lollapalooza is more than just a music festival. It is a movement. Organizers have announced several expanded eco-friendly initiatives, along with stricter recycling programs and plant-based food options available at the event. Not to mention, a combined Lollapalooza & Sueños Festival Job Fair will be readily available for job opportunities to help individuals get into the entertainment industry.
