Kaia Gerber seems to have moved on after her breakup with longtime boyfriend Austin Butler. The 23-year-old model was recently seen getting cozy with actor Lewis Pullman in Los Angeles, sparking rumours that a new romance is in the making. The couple was spotted celebrating Pullman’s 32nd birthday at Salazar, an East LA hotspot, with his father, legendary actor Bill Pullman.

Before delving into Gerber’s most recent speculated romance, let’s first discuss her past relationship. Gerber, and Butler from the film Elvis, had been dating each other for more than three years. Their romance was confirmed in early 2022. Sources claim that the couple ended their relationship near the end of 2024.
According to People, there was no bad blood between them after the breakup. In fact, their last public appearance was at a Gracie Abrams concert in October 2024; thus, it may be that the split was earlier than what is officially reported.
Just weeks after her split news went public, Gerber was photographed with Top Gun: Maverick star Lewis Pullman at his birthday celebration. It was a rather casual yet intimate affair at Salazar, during which Gerber stayed close to Pullman for most of the night.
A source told People that the two have been “spending time together the last few weeks” and described them as a “cute couple” who prefers to keep things low-key.
Gerber proved very effortless with a denim jacket and dark pants, complemented by a green scarf for accessories. Meanwhile, Pullman matched her carefree swagger with a white T-shirt, black bomber jacket, jeans, and a trucker hat. The couple’s chemistry was visible as Gerber clung to Pullman’s arm while he conversed with his father.

This is not the first time Gerber and Pullman have been seen together. An earlier sighting in January came from a DeuxMoi reader who says they spotted them talking together at Ye Rustic Inn in Los Feliz. And, Pullman was on the scene for the opening of Gerber’s play, Evanston Salt Costs Climbing, on January 25. These sightings imply that their romance might have been cooking for months.
Although neither Gerber nor Pullman has publicly confirmed their status, fans have noticed their increased appearances together. Both are very private persons, so it is not yet known whether they are in a relationship or just good friends.
Who is Lewis Pullman?
For those who are not familiar with Lewis Pullman, he is one of the Hollywood rising stars. He is the son of Independence Day actor Bill Pullman. Lewis had his first film appearance in The Ballad of Lefty Brown. After that, he was seen in The Strangers: Prey at Night, Bad Times at the El Royale, and Top Gun: Maverick.
Pullman will also feature in Thunderbolts, one of the most anticipated Marvel films, as Sentry. His acting career is rising, and he is becoming one of Hollywood’s new stars.
