Shortly before the season-ten finale of Vanderpump Rules, the #Scandoval couple reportedly called it quits. A source claimed Raquel ended the relationship, stating that Sandoval wasn’t the right match for her. This revelation comes just months after their affair became public and less than a year since it began. Fans bid farewell the matching necklaces, fan speculation, and Musso & Frank dinner dates. However, things have not stopped between the two.
Raquel Leviss On Sandoval’s Birthday Wish
Upon turning 29 in September, the former Vanderpump Rules star, now known as Rachel, received a public birthday message from her ex, Tom Sandoval. This move made headlines and stirred discussions about his intentions behind the not-so-private comment.
In a recent teaser for iHeartRadio’s Rachel Goes Rogue podcast, Leviss offered her perspective on the noteworthy post. She explained that he couldn’t have texted her because she had blocked him the day after getting her phone back after treatment. She pointed out that he could have sent her a direct message instead of making a public comment.
Leviss noted that cutting him out of her life was challenging due to the perceived specialness of their relationship. However, facing the objective facts and recognizing red flags shattered her denial. Once free from denial and acknowledging his manipulative nature, she couldn’t risk exposing herself to vulnerability, fearing it would lead back to old patterns she aimed to break free from.
Rachel “Raquel” Leviss is ready to share her side of the story in the aftermath of the Scandoval scandal. In a trailer for her podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue, the 29-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum reflects on the “horrible scandal” that ensued after her affair with costar Tom Sandoval became public in March, ultimately ending his nine-year relationship with Leviss’s friend and castmate Ariana Madix.
She acknowledges that she understands what she did was morally wrong and recognizes the anger. Leviss shares that she is currently back in Los Angeles after undergoing a 90-day stay in a trauma therapy centre. During this period, she had no phone, interacted with new people, and worked with different therapists.
The former reality star refers to returning for season 10 after her separation from costar James Kennedy as “a mistake.”She explains that, reflecting on that season, she was at her lowest point. She considers filming Vanderpump Rules after ending her engagement with James as her first mistake, acknowledging that she should have taken the time to heal and find a therapist.
