He said that the 6th edition will center around a modern setting that will feature Vice city and Brazil. There will probably be a fictional city as well. Moreover, as you progress through the game, the map will expand more and more, much like battle royal.
In addition, a Reddit user JackOLantern1982 too has revealed 23 new leaks of the game. As you’d know it’s another Rockstar worldwide project. They have codenamed it as ‘Project Americas’. According to the leaks, there will be only one playable character, that is male. There won’t be a female playable character, as per the leaks. In addition, there’s also a rumor that there will be full support for VR. It’d be really nice if it happens.

So, if you didn’t know, Rockstar North’s former president, back in a 2013 interview, had teased the next series. He said, “We don’t know what GTA 6 will be, but we’ve got some ideas”. Well, Benzies didn’t give much away about the game. However, it’s highly unlikely that he’d make a comment on that if they were not thinking of releasing the title.

Well, it’s true that the game is not coming anytime soon. According to the recent update, the game is still under development. Therefore, we don’t have many details about the GTA 6 release date. Moreover, as per the updates, it’s likely that the game might hit the store at around 2024/25.
