Lil Durk was in a serious car accident on Sunday, December 18, which left him very close to dying. The musician, who is 30 years old, posted the news on his official Instagram account, which worried his fans.
Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Derrick Banks, was hurt in the accident, but his injuries did not put his life in danger. What’s Going on? Sunday, Virgil, a rapper, went to Instagram to tell his fans the news. He showed his friends a bunch of pictures of himself getting into his car. In the last picture, the car had been in an accident and was lying on its side.
In the caption, Durk said, “Live life. Any day could be your last SMURK,” which shows how fragile life is. Durk is said to have non-life-threatening wounds that he is currently healing from. Supporters, meanwhile, were worried about the Chicago native’s situation and let them know they didn’t like what they said.

In 2018, the rapper was in an accident where someone hit him and he ran away
The accident happened on July 20, 2018, when a car hit the rapper and his friend Carlee. Lucky for Durk, the accident wasn’t too bad, and after a few days in the hospital, he was able to get better.
In an interview later, he talked about the tragedy and said, “I’m lucky. It could have been much worse. I went to the hospital right away because my back and legs hurt, but I have to thank God in general.” Yes, that’s the answer.
At Lollapalooza 2022 in Chicago, Durk just got into another accident. He was in the middle of his set at the music festival when the fireworks went off right in front of him. Because of the accident, he hurt his eye and had to go to the hospital. The rapper kept doing shows even after the accident.
Later, Durk said on Instagram that he had to rest for a few days and then go back on stage with a bandage over his eye. In the post, he said, “Because of what happened on stage at Lollapalooza in Chicago, I’m going to take a break and work on my health.”
