Recently, on the occasion of World Refugee Day, ‘#LoveCoats’ project was uncovered by NRS International and Professor Helen Storey. He is a renowned and award-winning social artist, designer and researcher at the London College of Fashion, UAL. On the occasion of the launch of ‘#LoveCoats’, the entire management was handled by Farhaj Sarwar. “The goal of this project is to empower the TIGER Girls girls of Za’atari refugee camp in Jordan,” said Helen Storey.
“Through this event, we aim to transform thermal refugee blankets into high-end fashion,” added Helen Storey. For the transformation and empowerment of refugee women, NRS International donated 1,000 meters of thermal blanketing material to Professor Storey. In 2016, NRS International successfully sold over four million blankets of the same category to the most popular and leading aid agencies all across the globe.
