LeBron James, basketball star, became the scoring leader on tuesday night at Oklahoma City, LA. He broke Kareem Abdul- Jabbar’s record with his performance in the Laker’s 130-130 loss.
Abdul Jabbar watched the match live from the baseline seat and later got emotional when he joined the champion and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. James’ family sat outside the court with the crowd and celebrated every time James touched the ball. He hugged his family after making the record, due to which the match was stopped for 10 minutes.
James didn’t disappoint his fans and showed a full showcase of his talent during the match. In the first half of the match, he scored 20 points and set a new record in the second half by scoring 16 points.
The star player said, “I didn’t set this as a goal, so that’s probably why it’s so surreal and weird. He thanked Laker faithful and Kareem in his speech. The player said it was a very emotional moment for him and thanked people for supporting him throughout his journey.
The crowd screamed and cheered him on his success. The kid from Ohio, a history creator today, has all championship rings and honors in his name.
