Haikyuu Season 5 Release Date and Time
Haikyuu is one of the most popular Japanese Manga Series, which was initially released on 6 April 2014. This series received huge popularity within the premiere of just a few episodes and now it has got its new season which is Season 5.
However, the fans are very much excited about this Haikyuu Season 5, and they are eager to know when the Haikyuu Season 5 release date will be. Well, it is expected that Haikyuu Season 5 will come out sometime in the year August 2023. However, these are just speculations. So, we will have to wait for the official confirmation about the Haikyuu Season 5 release date.
What will be the Haikyuu Season 5 Plot?
The upcoming Haikyuu! To The Top Part 2 or Season, 5 is expected to cover the events after this match of the highly anticipated Karasuno versus Nekoma, ‘The Dumpster Battle’. Kenma and Kuroo are seen at the end of Season 4 talking about their upcoming match.
Hinata knows that it is difficult to engage Kenma and get him to be invested in a competition, as he too, is somewhat of a genius setter. However, Hinata promises to give Kenma a match he would remember.
Therefore, the season will also shift focus from Karasuno to Fukurodani briefly and further Bokuto’s story arc. So, Bokto’s explosive play style and his prowess as the ace of Fukurodani will be explored in the coming Season 5. If you remember the Tokyo Training Camp Kageyama attended in Season 4 Part 1, all the players there have a part of play in the upcoming seasons.
How they turn out as opponents for Karasuno remains to be seen in the anime. The content of Season 4 is allowing speculations for Haikyuu Season 5 to cover the remaining matches of the Tokyo Nationals Arc, but, certainly, the Haikyuu is not ending with Season 5.
Expectedly there will be the last few rallies where Kenma is showing a lot of will to just keep playing.
When Hinata breaks through Kenma’s “cage”
When Kenma is thinking to himself about the contradictory feeling he always feels when playing video games with “Don’t die yet”
More Kuroo/Kenma flashbacks
Tsukki and Yamaguchi’s serve/block combo
Bokuto and Akaashi’s reactions to the game
Hugs and high-fives at the end of the game
There is also a probability of making one Season out of Nekoma’s game since it is pretty long, somewhat similar to what they did with Shiratorizawa.
Where can I Watch Haikyuu English Dub?
Season 4 of the sports anime series titled, “Haikyuu!! To the Top” will be receiving the English dub in March 2022. The Japanese Dub with an English-subtitled version of all 4 seasons is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
It cannot be confirmed when the Haikyuu English dub will land on Crunchyroll. Funimation has not added the title yet to its library but, hopefully, the English dub might land soon.
VRV, exclusive to the US is streaming all four seasons of “Haikyuu!!” anime with English subtitles. If you have HIDIVE access you can stream English Dub/Sub of the third season of Haikyu!!. Seasons 1 and 2 of Haikyu!! that were streaming on Netflix have been removed from 1st November in many regions. These seasons were running for 2 years and it seems the license to the stream had come to an end.
Is Haikyuu Season 5 the Last Season of Anime?
Haikyuu fans would be looking forward to following the manga all the way. With sufficient story material available, one can even expect the anime to end up with Haikyu Season 6 and maybe even a Haikyu Season 7.
A common perception is that there is sufficient content and demand for more episodes and that more seasons can be planned by the franchise. The only question is whether the final arcs will be adapted. It’s pretty common to leave the end of a manga unadapted to make sure people buy the manga volumes, for one.
Then again Haikyuu is pretty popular, and a Haikyuu!! movie format could work. Or they might do another set of OVAs to cover some matches then leave Haikyuu!! Season 6 to cover the ending.
