Manipur’s Chief Minister, N Biren Singh has announced to introduce a much-awaited bus service that will connect Imphal (Manipur, India) to Mandalay in Myanmar. The bus service will set to begin in April. However, it has been stated that if the demand will increase the service will also be provided daily. The objective to launch this bus is to improve road connectivity with Southeast Asian countries.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister of Myanmar has also mentioned that the flight services between Imphal and Mandalay will also be functional soon to increase the convenience of the travellers. So, if you were planning to travel to Myanmar via road, the news is in your favour.
