As per the report of Variety George Miller is seeking to premiere the Mad Max prequel at Cannes 2024 on May 14, almost two weeks before the US release date on May 24, 2024, of the same month. Originally slated for June 23, 2023, the film’s release was strategically delayed to coincide with Memorial Day weekend, promising an action-packed start to the summer movie season.
Just like its predecessors, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is set to hit theaters for an exclusive theatrical release. Fans can immerse themselves in the post-apocalyptic world on the big screen, experiencing the intense narrative and visually stunning scenes in IMAX format. For those unable to catch it in theaters, the film will later become available on the Max streaming service.
