Ellen DeGeneres is making a comeback. She will return as a host five months after her show ends. However, this time, she will be coming to Youtube rather than on TV. Ellen DeGeneres is versatile. She is a host, producer, writer, and director. In fact, she runs her record label too. On The Oprah Winfrey Show, she came out as a lesbian. The episode sparked controversy. Indeed, it is one of the most viewed episodes.
What collapsed the Ellen DeGeneres Show?
In 2003, the Ellen DeGeneres Show came into being. Ellen received over 33 Emmy nominations and innumerable other accolades. Indeed, she earned worldwide recognition. However, in 2020, many of her employees came forward and complained of a toxic work environment. They also stated that Ellen was quite rude and distant in person. Finally, Ellen ended up apologizing on several occasions. But this act of atonement failed to fix the damage that was already leading the show to cessation.

Greyson Chance became a trending topic for his rendition of the famous Lady Gaga song Paparazzi. Ellen DeGeneres welcomed him on the show and signed him to her label. Chance stepped forward last month to speak on how his life and schedule would change with one text from her. He declared that she became domineering and way too controlling.
Chance echoed the allegations of other employees and asserted that she was just degrading to people. He also looked back on how Ellen would come in and look at a rack, yell at stylists, and rebuke people in front of him. Chance also came forward to mention how the studio where Ellen hosted her show became a site of trauma for him. The kid, who went on to become a singer, also criticized Ellen for discussing his sexual orientation on the show.
He stated that he hadn’t spoken to her in years when he came out. In fact, he also commented that it was so messed up. Ellen was portraying in front of the public that they were so tight and so good. Anyway, after 19 seasons and over almost 3000 episodes, the show faced annulment. Chance also expressed his gratitude. He owed it to her. He was grateful for everything that happened in spite of the backlash against her.

It is five months now since her two-decade-long show terminated, and Ellen DeGeneres is making a resurgence. The Youtube show will come under the title About Time for Yourself … With Ellen DeGeneres. This series will take place at her home. We will see Ellen sharing her own attempts to try new things.
We will see Ellen carving out a little me time in her own very Ellen way. In the show’s teaser, she shows up and says she has been taking some time for herself. She says that she is retreating from the cameras. She further announces that she is having a great time. Thus, she desires to share some of what she is doing with her audiences.
This might be a PR attempt to make Ellen DeGeneres pleasant again. Indeed, so many people unhesitatingly came forward to share their accounts of how manipulative she is. The new Youtube show will come with 8 episodes. We will see Ellen learning new hobbies such as bird-watching, crocheting, making cards, etc.
