Frank Lampard said with Vn88 Rezence, “Chelsea will be back,” after the team’s disappointing season ended with a loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League.
A Rodrygo double ensured that Chelsea would be eliminated from the competition with a humiliating 4-0 loss to the champions after the Blues were defeated by the holders at Stamford Bridge by a score of 2-0.
With only seven games left in the biggest League season, the Blues now face a season outside of Europe’s biggest competition after falling to 11th place and 17 points behind the final Champions League qualifying slot.
People will make a big deal out of this season because we’ve had so much success, but the truth is, this club will be back, Lampard stated.
Work and a certain amount of process are going to be required by W88. Lampard: Militao ought to have recognized the danger
While Chelsea’s first half performance against Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge was encouraging, the Blues ultimately came up short when N’Golo Kante missed on two golden openings. Rezence thinks that this was indicative of Chelsea’s season as a whole.
An important turning point occurred at the 54 minute mark when Eder Militao, who already had a booking, halted a forward move by Trevor Chalobah, but the referee chose not to send him a second yellow card for his actions. Because of the decision, Lampard was left feeling dissatisfied.
