Ariana Madix does not intend to dance to songs referencing Sandoval on Dancing With the Stars. On Monday, November 27, Madix, aged 38, used her Instagram Story to address fans’ inquiries in anticipation of DWTS’s Semi-Finals on Tuesday, November 28.
Responding to a follower who wondered why Madix didn’t perform Taylor Swift’s revenge anthem, “Vigilante S–t,” on the show’s Swift-themed night on November 21, Madix disclosed that she had established guidelines for her participation in the show.
Dating since 2014, Tom Sandoval and Madix purchased a house together in Valley Village, Los Angeles, in 2019. However, the couple split following claims of cheating on Tom. Since then she has maintained silence on the issue. However, now it seems that the limits have been touched.
The Vanderpump Rules star responded by mentioning that, aside from Week 1 and [Most Memorable Year Night], she had established a significant music rule for herself, which involved
avoiding songs on that specific subject matter. She was referring to her public breakup with Tom, who cheated on her with costar Raquel Leviss. Madix went on to express that her favourite song by Swift is “Cruel Summer,” and she specifically wanted to dance to that song. She clarified that Taylor’s team had expressed a desire for the song to be included in the show, and she, in turn, had a strong desire for it to be part of her performance.
On the upcoming Tuesday, Madix, along with pro-Pasha Pashkov, is set to perform a Foxtrot to “Trampoline” by Shaed and Zayn, in addition to a Jive. She will be competing against others in the remaining lineup, which includes Jason Mraz, Charity Lawson, Xochitl Gomez, and Alyson Hannigan.
