With Apex Legends Season 15: Eclipse ending and Season 16 only a few days away, rumors regarding the future season’s content have intensified. Gamers are curious about the new legend, future gameplay adjustments, etc.
Even though we don’t have all the information, we have compiled a list of details regarding the upcoming season’s content (containing both verified facts and leaked speculation), and we’ll keep adding to it as we learn more. Everything we currently know about Apex Legends Season 16 is listed below.
Launch Date Confirmed
The current Apex battle pass ends on February 14, and Season 16: Revelry is scheduled to launch on the same day at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET.
A New Legend is not Confirmed
Reliable Apex Legends leakers like ThordanSmash, iLootGames, and KralRindo, as well as other data miners and content producers, have previously claimed that a new legend was not in the game’s Season 16 plan. The Revelry trailer supports these claims. Don’t worry; the creators still have plenty of surprises in store for the season; this will be the first time an Apex Legends season has ever begun without a new legend to go along with it.
New Weapon Confirmed
Whenever the new season is available, a new assault rifle named the Nemesis will be added to the game. According to data miners, the Nemesis is an AR that fires energy ammo and causes 17 damage per hit (headshots are likely higher). When a significant amount of information about upcoming Apex Legends Downloadable content was leaked on Reddit in March of last year, the existence of the weapon was first discovered. The introduction of Catalyst, Newcastle, Vantage, Broken Moon Map, and Valkyrie’s Heirloom Weapon were all likely anticipated by that leak. Thus it is quite likely that Nemesis will also show up.
Verified: There is no Cross-progression (Yet)
Speaking about cross-platform progression, iLootGames added that he could affirm that Apex Legends will not receive many features in Season 16, much to the despair of console gamers who wish to switch. Developers have recently claimed that it is undoubtedly on the way, but they still need to specify a timeframe for when it will come.
A Battle Pass with A Party Theme is Confirmed
With a vibrant color scheme and musical design motifs, the Season 16: Revelry battle pass features a rave/party look. Several Apex gamers and content producers believe these cosmetics may be clearing the way for Rhapsody, the DJ from Apex’s recently canceled mobile game who loves deathmatches, to make her grand arrival later on. But Lifeline is also well known for loving music, and music has a significant role in her past, so these cosmetics may simply hint at Lifeline’s legend.
On A wrap, here’s all the relevant information we had about Apex Legends Season 16. To know more, stay tuned!
