Few are mentioned below:
Honestly had realistic expectations after the 2013 reboot but saw the trailers and was excited enough to take a trip to the cinema with my wife. Being a HUGE fan of the original trilogy & Ash Vs Evil series I was honestly very satisfied with this take on the franchise. The deadites are exactly as I hoped they would be demonic, haunting, relentless and most importantly mocking you whilst you witness the most savage and gory elements of the movie. A MUST watch for all fans of Evil Dead no matter how hardcore and a great watch for the general horror fans out there too. Can’t wait (&praying) for the next entry in the franchise although it has a tough act to follow after the awesome Evil Dead Rise

Evil dead rise is a really good horror film, even tho there are some comedy aspects to it. The sounds design is also great, gets you immersed more. I didn’t like some things within the film itself like the elevator doors opening and closing non stop and Beth not being able to hear any sound with those headphones (yes they are sound cancelling headphones but there should be still some sound from how loud it was), but those are just minor things and they don’t really affect the experience. All in all, it’s one of the better films that i have watched recently, 9/10.

Loved it. Was the best horror I’ve seen in years. Kept me on my toes the whole time and I thiught it did wonderful as a continuation for the Evil Dead. Paid Homage to the previous movies while making it more modernized with a realistic family. I think they did excellent with showing this family and how they were together. In the short time they did I grew to care for the characters and wanted to see who would survive, super great.
