Vicente Fernandez’s Death
Later in life, Fernández suffered health problems. He battled liver cancer later on after overcoming prostate cancer in 2002. He did, however, decide against having a liver transplant. In 2013, Fernández experienced a thrombosis that briefly caused him to lose his voice, and in 2015, he underwent surgery to have abdominal hernias removed.
He suffered cervical spine injuries from a fall at his ranch in 2021, which led to his hospitalisation. He was also given the diagnosis of Guillain-Barré syndrome.
